ANDY WILLIAMS
Born in 1981,Andy Williams, a scrum half now aged 29, is a product of Dunvant R.F.C. Junior and Youth Sections, In 2000, Andy transferred to Bath Rugby on a scholarship to Bath University, and made 23 appearances before returning to Wales in 2003. Andy made 34 appearances for the Ospreys in 2003-4 , winning his first Welsh cap against Romania on 27th August 2003. In 2004, Andy returned to Bath for whom he made a further 53 appearances, vying for the scrum half shirt with Wales International; Gareth Cooper. Andy secured further Wales caps against U.S.A., Canada and Argentina, winning his last cap against Australia in 2007. For the 2007/8 season, Andy returned to Wales to play for Newport & Gwent Dragons, making 20 appearances over the next 2 seasons. In 2009, Andy moved to England to play for Midlands side Moseley, and in December 2009 transferred to Gloucester Rugby on a short term loan before signing for Worcester Warriors for the rest of the season. Andy retired from playing at the end of the 2010-11 season and is now Player Development Officer at the Ospreys.
