It is with great sadness that Dunvant RFC have to announce that past President, Chairman and Life Member David Vaughan has passed away peacefully at home this morning. Our condolences to his wife Glenys, sons Richard, Steve and Davy and grandsons Nathan and Daniel together with the family.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Honorary Life Patron, Past President, Past Chairman, Mr. David “Dai” Vaughan. Dai was one of the World’s great characters, known throughout the world as a great speaker. He was one of the main driving forces behind Dunvant Rugby Club, buying and building our Broadacre fields and Clubhouse. I have known him since he was my Scout Master at YMCA Scouts from the age of 10.
