The club was located on the banks of the river Teifi and the pitch was in immaculate condition making for a great contest. Dunvant batted first and started comfortably with openers Mike Arnold and Owen Lewis seeing off the opening bowlers. Dunvant lost two wickets in succession before Ryan Howells steadied the ship and kept the run rate going. Rob John accelerated the pace further with some powerful batting however a mix up in the middle led to Mike Arnold being run out on 85. Rob was bowled for 51 with Cam Tucker providing a useful 19 to end the 40 overs with a total of 237 for 8.
Llandysul came out confidently and despite some tight bowling from Ryan Howell and two early wickets from Gareth Johns bowling, they were kept in the game by some powerful shot making from batsmen Jack Deal. Some tight bowling from Tim Rees (8 overs for 23 runs), a vital catch from Ceri Phillips behind off a quicker Johnny Welch bowl and two wickets for a resurgent Cam Warren sealed the fate of the game. Llandysul managed 190 for 9 wickets at the end of play meaning another much needed win for Dunvant.
