As many will have heard the chairman's announcements and exasperation during Saturday's match, can we please remind everyone that dogs are not allowed on any grassed area at Dunvant RFC at any time. There were numerous instances of people exercising their dogs on the pitches during the match on Saturday which is not acceptable. Next weekend we will see over 2000 junior players attending the Annual Junior Rugby Festival held at the club and naturally we want the playing areas to be as safe as possible.
There have been instances lately where players have ended up in hospital with serious eye infections from falling in dog's mess during a match, we have highlighted this previously with a young player from Carmarthen Quins.
